GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS
The information above is a general overview. The documents required for release depend on the circumstances of the tow, ownership and registration status, and who is picking up the vehicle. Review the requirements below and call A-1 All Night Service before your appointment to confirm what you will need.
VEHICLE DOCUMENTATION
Please bring documentation identifying the vehicle and its registered or legal owner. Acceptable documentation may include:
• Current and valid vehicle registration
• Rental agreement for a rental vehicle
• Other legal documentation identifying the vehicle owner, responsible agent, or claimant
Documentation requirements vary depending on the circumstances of the tow. Please call A-1 before your appointment to confirm what documentation is required for your vehicle.
GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO IDENTIFICATION
A current, valid government-issued photo ID is required. The name on the identification should correspond with the vehicle documentation or other documentation establishing your authority to claim the vehicle.
A valid driver's license may be required if the vehicle will be driven from the storage facility.
PICKING UP A VEHICLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE
If you are not the registered or legal owner, you must have express authorization to act as their representative.
You must provide:
• An original notarized letter from the registered or legal owner granting you authority to claim the vehicle and/or personal property.
• Your own current government-issued photo identification.
Please note that additional documentation may still be required depending on the specific circumstances of the vehicle's release from our storage facility.

Registered owners and authorized agents are permitted in the storage yard only when accompanied by an A-1 employee.
Working on or repairing vehicles in the storage yard is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, installing or removing batteries, tires, wheels, electronics wired to the vehicle, or other equipment/accessories that are bolted, wired, screwed, or otherwise attached to the vehicle.
